Wai-Pups Garden Adventure

Here comes the Wai-Pups ---- Wai-Pai and Wai-Max exploring the mini-garden. Piappies Mama (Piappies Mom's Ma - are we confusing you?!) takes care of all the blooms of our surroundings. At times, we get scolded whenever our lil paws would go over our "keep off" areas. Every time this happens, she sometimes gets confused as to who would get the scolding.

Earlier today, we were "caught" by Piappies Mom's flashy box as we were taking a stroll by the garden. Don't worry furry pals, we did not do any damage on the blooms. We kept our lil paws in a safe distance.

Maybe next time we can share with you some of the flowers and plants that we enjoy seeing. Piappies Mama sure can talk to the plants and make them healthy. She sure knows gardening.

Hope that you are all having a good week.

Love,
Wai-Max and Wai-Pai

Here Comes the Rain

Frappie here dearest furry friends, giving you the latest weather update here in our world. Yup we are getting our share of raindrops and gusty winds. The storm hit us tonight. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. We are happy to announce that all is ok here in our world. We were quite worried since yesterday as the reports mentioned that the storm is really huge. Luckily, where we are are spared from the angry winds and bucket loads of raindrops. We keep our paws crossed for our fellow furries and hoomans that live in the Northern part of the Philippines for the storm is passing directly in that area. We hope that not much damage is brought by this nasty storm.

As for us, we did our operation stormy safety measures. Wai-Max below was tasked to guard our food bowls.
See how he keeps an eye on the bowl?! BOL Since he is working so hard, he helped himself to some treats, of course.

Wai-Max : doing guarding chores

We also agreed that just in case the winds get any more angry, we were trained to keep our paws close to Wai-Pai. We would not want of lil one to be blown away by the wind. Piappies Mom think we went over board on this though.

It's early bedtime for the Piappies tonight. We can't wait to wake up for better weather, please!

Wai-Pai and Wai-Max about to zzzzzzz away!

For our power of paws updates: Happy to let you that Mika, Tank, Butchy and Galaxy are doing a-ok! Mika's surgery is done and he is looking into how to make his recovery as fast as it can possibly be. Tank has put his cone of shame he used during his not so well days in an auction. Butchy also happily on his way to recovery. And we just heard that Galaxy is feeling much better. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in keeping our paws crossed and who dropped by to visit all of them.

Once again we request for your powerful prayers for our following pals who are going through some struggles. Wilf is not so well but the great news is he is on his 7th day of Grace and is showered with love, wonderful walkies and treats by his pawrents. Luke also got some not so good news but we would request that if you have the time to leave them positive thoughts, prayers, encouragement, please try to keep them positive and happy. We also learned that Sasha's Grandma needs prayers too. And let's extend the power of paws over to Samba who will be going through med check to see how well she is doing after getting ill last year.

Wai-Pups Doggie Day Out

Hellooooo furry friends! It's Wai-Pai and I'm finally able to tell you about the Doggie Day Out that we mentioned in our last post. Weeeeeee! Ok, so Piappies Mom, hooman Mama and hooman sister brought me and Wai-Max for a ride. I really could not care where we were headed. My only concern was we were going out! I was so thrilled!

First thing I noticed as we were walking was the presence of so many furry friends. I was looking for our friend Maxie but he was not there. Piappies Mom told us that we were there for a day of spa-mpering. What a treat!

Then she told us that more than the freebies and pawpering moments, we were also being registered for the ASPIN Club. ASPIN is a nickname for "Asong Pinoy" which translates to Philippine native dog. The club is open to all native dogs and mixed breeds. The event was organized by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and our registration money will help the animals rescued from cruelty. We all support PAWS!

Here I am, being groomed..."Mister... that tickles!"

It's Wai-Max' turn! He was not so thrilled with pawdicure and was Grrrring... Silly brother!

We got to meet very nice and friendly new furry pals, had some yummy treats, and even got a very relaxing massage!

Can you see the happy smiles we got?! And there's more...

We found another Piappies-related statue! Remember the "Bestfriends" statue we first one found here. This time it is called the "Silent Companion".

We really enjoy Piappies Day Outs especially since it is usually me and Wai-Max that get to go. For those who take us with them on their day-outs via their posts, we hope you guys also enjoyed our adventure.

Sorry for we don't get to post as often as we' like to but we do visit your blogs as often as we could to stay in touch with all of you, wonderful furry friends!

Sorry for the delay of our draw. We are quite a handful pack.

First of all, we thank and congratulate Twinkie Tiny Dog for making the 2010 Global Animal Blogging Event possible. We all had fun bumping into furry friends as we visited active and passive GABE participants. We also look forward to knowing our new furry friends better. We not only have lots of laughs readings bout your fun times we also learn so much from all of you and we cherish these friendships.

Now, for our GABE winners announcement... our winners are:

Congratulations to Priscilla and The Musketeers!!! Weeeeee We are giving you a pet tag like one of these below. We will send you a pee-mail for the ordering details as we will have these especially made and sent over to you. Do let us know who amongst your adorable pups or kits we will order for. We hope you like them.

We also send special thanks to: Twinkie Tiny Dog, Mabel-Lou of CreekHiker and The Musketeers for the wonderful and special GABE prizes we won!

Weeeeee I'm looking forward to having our own Twinkie Tiny Dog book! And of course, I'm so excited to choose which of MY cute and adorable photos will be used for the pendant and the painting but Mommy says that we will have a mini raffle here to choose who among the piappies will be on these special artworks. Well, alright, I'm a good sport.

We will truly treasure these really special gifts. Thank you so much!!!

Now for some Wai-Piappies updates, they are growing up so fast. Mommy could hardly keep up with her flashy box to snap at their growing up years (well, ok, days). The went to the Dr. Vet for the start of their shots and here's a sneak:

We will post more and tell you about Wai-Pai and Wai-Max Dr. VET adventure in our next post.

I'll go back to my watching over the Wai-Piappies duties here in our world. See you again furry friends!

- Frappie
