Happy Easter 2013

Hello to everyone! As you know in some our comments to the blogs we've visited, Piappies Mom was in search for bunny ears for Easter and she did try to find one. Unfortunately (well, good news to us) she was not very lucky BUT (waaah for us...) she managed to find this terrible head gear...

This time, instead of choose just one of us to wear to for our Easter greeting post, she got ALL of us to wear it and face the flashy box! Arrrrgh...

So thankful to some of our furry pals who have taught us the art of making it a challenge to get a good shot, we all did our best...

Princess - just one shot or she would have ripped it into pieces 

Frappie - surprisingly he seemed to think it was ok, did you really, Frappie?!

Sugar - he used the art of walking away

Mocha - there was not a time that she wore the head gear for more than 2 seconds!

Forgie - she's so shy but Piappies Mom did get her to agree for a moment to wear it

Wai-Pai - our usual Piappie model really gave Piappies Mom a hard time with this one

Wai-Max - he came out to be THE surprise model! He really enjoyed this Easter thing. We were all wondering if he was promised lots of treats after this flashy box moment... Hmmmm... Wai-Max...

And of course here's ME, Fudgie,... Hmmm... Mom, I definitely would like my ears back... please?!

Wai-Pai did cooperate with the flashy box so long as she got the head gear where she'd prefer it to be.

Wai-Pai: Mom, where in the world did you find this? What?! You can actually buy this?!

That's a lot better, here's my winning smile, Mom!

Relaxing Sunday Piappies

Hello every furry pals! How have you been doing this weekend? We'd like to share some photos that Piappies Mom took of us today. She's been trying all day to catch us do some of our zoom zoomies but we always beat the flashy box with our speed. BOL She always ends us with photos of lots of fluffy tails and blurs.

The best she could do is let us settle down and relax, zzzzz away and these are the ones we share with all of you...

Welcome to the Philippines Pip and Puddles

Mabuhay is a Filipino greeting to welcome visitors here in the Philippines and we are happy that our very special guests this month of Hearts are Pip and Puddles.

As many of you know, Pip and Puddles are touring the world to visit friends and see the many wonderful countries around the globe. We are so excited that they are able to come visit the Piappies in their very busy itinerary.

The Philippines have many beautiful travel destinations and we are just too happy to take them around. Being a tropical country with many islands, we are known for a number of beach destinations to enjoy the sun, the sea and the sand. Some of these places are located in Iba in Zambales, Mactan in Cebu, Coron in Palawan, Tagbilaran in Bohol and you probably have heard of Boracay in Aklan! These places are known for diving, wake boarding, surfing, snorkeling, sailing and many more. The Piappies decided to take them to a beach that is just about 2 1/2 hours drive from Manila, the place is called Laiya.

It's a good thing we got the chance to take Pip and Puddles to the beach! We are city Piappies so we don't really get to travel outside Manila.  Our options for recreational activities usually involve just going to place and shopping malls, who are happy to welcome furry pups and kits. 

You see, we celebrate a lot of festivals all throughout the year and our hoomans usually take the time to go around the country.  We were not able to tour them to these festivities so we just colored our posts in different hues to give you a feel.

Wai-Pai and Forgie thought of a great idea of bringing Pip and Puddles to see special spots that WE discovered during our growing up years. These are special structures that involve dogs. PAWS which stand for Philippine Animal Welfare Society partnered with some special hoomans that made these structures and had them installed in pet-friendly complex within Manila.

We even got a special permit to have a picnic here!

It gives us a good feeling that with these statues, more and more people are aware and are reminded of the importance of proper and responsible pet care and that we should treat animals with care. It may be a small step in stopping animal cruelty but we believe this still helps.

We really want to have Pip and Puddles stay with us longer for we still got lots to show them and all of you, too but there is the circus too and we know that you are all looking forward to them joining in the fun!

Lastly, as part of the current campaign of the government to encourage visitors to come to the Philippines, we made this for all of you. We invite you to come visit us too.

Piappies Christmas 2012 Cheer

Christmas greetings to all our furry friends all over the world!
We've missed you guys so much and we could not let this special occasion pass without is sending you our yuletide cheer. 

How are you all doing? We can hardly believe that it's been 6 months since we last posted! Waaah We've tried our best though to read through your posts every time Piappies Mom get the chance to take a break from w-o-r-k. We've seen good news and not so happy news too -- we do hope that everyone is doing well --- and by that we mean you, our furry pals and your hoomans too. We are all with you in spirit and we now knock on your doors to send our Christmas message.

You might also be wondering how we are so we'll post our Christmas photos here. Yeah, Piappies Mom was not too successful with getting us to wear any funny headpiece or outfits but the flashy box did catch us in our different "moments".

Mango Minster Piappies Entry 2012: Forgie

After days of consultation and discussions among us here, we finally agreed that this year, the Piappies entry for the 2012 Mango Minster will be represented by the youngest Piappies in our pack --- FORGIE!

Taadah... Hey there furry pals, it's me Forgie! I'm excited to tell you all about "our" entry because it will mean that I get to tell you about ME! For the category I'm joining in, I gathered all my photos and it seemed clear that I'm the Adventure Dog!

We were a litter of 4 lil female piappies and while we were waiting to grow up a bit before going to our furever homes, we were fondly called the 4G's (4 girls). That early on I was already curious about what fun things I can do with my sisters, what adventures would be waiting for us each day and new things can we explore. And to Piappies Mom's happiness, I enjoyed the flashy box!

I got the chance to have my first adventure during my 1st Christmas . We were all nicely dressed in red we were asked to pose for the flashy box:

Forgie: "Nevermind them Mom, here's my best smile! Will we always dress this way during Christmas? *smile*"

Then came our next adventure --- Dance class! Being such a fast learner, not only did I learn know to dance, I actually enjoyed it!

Forgie: "Mooooom! Showtime!!! Is this hawaiian dance, ballet or samba?!"

Just as they were confirming which furever home I was going to, I've already made up my mind that I will be staying with the Piappies. As soon as they dressed me up again, I hurriedly jumped into the tub and showed them how much fun we can have together.

Forgie: "I love bathtimes, dress up, flashy box sessions and more! Oh Mom! Check me out in my own performance of Holiday in Tub! Weeeeeee!"

Now, this photo sealed the deal, so 4G has become my name and I've been called Forgie!

I sooooo happy to be here, one look around and I knew I belong...

Forgie: "Uhmm... Frappie, we kinda look alike, huh? What do you think?"

And my adventure moments continue...Here's my photo with one of our favorite statues - "Best Friends" Ok, so I got one part of the flashy box rules - stay still as the flashy box creates magic. I didn't think though that my head should be in front and not the back of the statue.

Forgie: "Mom? Mom?!"

I also love shopping! Who doesn't anyway? I got the chance to explore several malls as I was growing up. Remember our magic adventure bag? Now, that brought us to many fun places...

Forgie: "I wonder if they got stilettos for my paw size!?!"

Forgie: "Now is there a dress I can get here for me and Mr. Pink Teddy please."

I also had a lot of fun when I was brought to another Piappies favorite statue - the Silent Companion!

Forgie: "Here's a good full body shot for you. CHEESE!"

And now for my best adventure so far. You see, we got kitties who once in a while visit us. Most of the time, Mocha and Wai-Max would try to chase them to play. They wait until the kitties go down and that was when I thought, Hey! Why not chase them up the wall and that I did!

Forgie: "Ok, Mom, you got your flashy box moments, can you please put down the flashy box now and get me down from here? Oh and yes, please stop laughing!"

I look forward to many more adventures and I promise to share them with all of you here in bloggie land.
