Celebrating a Long Weekend

Greetings to all our furry friends all over the world! It's Princess here it's really late at night or perhaps really early morning here in Manila but I just had to sneak in to let you know that we are celebrating a special weekend because of several reasons: First, it's Piappies Mom barkday today (alright, it's actually 22 Oct) but since we have gone bedtime yet, we still feel it's her barkday. She was able to go on a barkday leave today! Another is it has been declared that Monday is a holiday here in the Philippines! Now, that we officially consider a loooong weekend and celebrations we will have.

We didn't do much today for Piappies Mom went to celebrate with our hooman Mama and her sister then after that, she asked us that soon as it was bedtime for us, she will be off againto meet up with her friends. She did tell us that we got lots of play time for the days and that we need to rest to have energy for zoom zoomies, run arounds, roll rolling, zoom rolls, run zoomies and more! Of course, we expect that treats would be part of the plan too! So being the Piappies that we are, we zzzzzzed away...

Wai-Max, Wai-Pai and Wai...Why-who-is-that?!!! Hmmmm...

Again.... Wai-Pai & Wai-Max that is right, Silly Mommy!

We give thanks to everyone who crossed their paws for us as we were visited by a nasty storm last week. We are very grateful that we got through the rain drops and windy blows safely but we are also saddened seeing that not all of us were spared for there were several provinces that were badly damaged. We have our paws crossed for them.

We are celebrating with all of you who are having fun and exciting activities weekend. We all know that weekends are furry pals days. We get to spend more time with our hoomans and we love it, right?

We are also offering this weekend to all of our furry friends who are going through struggles. We are spending more time to cross our paws. We've been reading a lot of wonderful stories in the bloggie world these days and we read from one that nothing is certain with the future what is certain is how you can spend today. Let's us embrace life and make the most out of it.

We saw in the news that the nasty storm that just left us is now in Taiwan and is also the neighboring countries. Please be safe there and we pray that it would not bring damage to them.

We will keep you posted on our celebrations this weekend! Do watch out for it, alright?

Have a wonderful weekend, efur-body!

Here Comes the Rain

Frappie here dearest furry friends, giving you the latest weather update here in our world. Yup we are getting our share of raindrops and gusty winds. The storm hit us tonight. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. We are happy to announce that all is ok here in our world. We were quite worried since yesterday as the reports mentioned that the storm is really huge. Luckily, where we are are spared from the angry winds and bucket loads of raindrops. We keep our paws crossed for our fellow furries and hoomans that live in the Northern part of the Philippines for the storm is passing directly in that area. We hope that not much damage is brought by this nasty storm.

As for us, we did our operation stormy safety measures. Wai-Max below was tasked to guard our food bowls.
See how he keeps an eye on the bowl?! BOL Since he is working so hard, he helped himself to some treats, of course.

Wai-Max : doing guarding chores

We also agreed that just in case the winds get any more angry, we were trained to keep our paws close to Wai-Pai. We would not want of lil one to be blown away by the wind. Piappies Mom think we went over board on this though.

It's early bedtime for the Piappies tonight. We can't wait to wake up for better weather, please!

Wai-Pai and Wai-Max about to zzzzzzz away!

For our power of paws updates: Happy to let you that Mika, Tank, Butchy and Galaxy are doing a-ok! Mika's surgery is done and he is looking into how to make his recovery as fast as it can possibly be. Tank has put his cone of shame he used during his not so well days in an auction. Butchy also happily on his way to recovery. And we just heard that Galaxy is feeling much better. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in keeping our paws crossed and who dropped by to visit all of them.

Once again we request for your powerful prayers for our following pals who are going through some struggles. Wilf is not so well but the great news is he is on his 7th day of Grace and is showered with love, wonderful walkies and treats by his pawrents. Luke also got some not so good news but we would request that if you have the time to leave them positive thoughts, prayers, encouragement, please try to keep them positive and happy. We also learned that Sasha's Grandma needs prayers too. And let's extend the power of paws over to Samba who will be going through med check to see how well she is doing after getting ill last year.

Hello to all our furry friends! It's me Sugar. Our weather forecast here in Manila says that we are going to have lots and lots of rain. We are hoping that it would not be too much that there will be a lot of people and furry friends who will not have a good week so we keep our paws that all will be alright.

We are doing our usual zoom zoomies and roll rolls this weekend. We hope that you guys are also enjoying the weekend where ever you are in world.

Frappie: "To everyone who is just chilling out, enjoy the company of your fellow furries and your hooman families. Spread the love!

No Worries Now

Hello to all our furry friends! Yup, it's me, Wai-Max and I get to do a back to back post to let you know that you have made my worries disappear! Thank you for your kind words, I'm no longer gloomy about my not being able to do the Froggie Pose.

You guys are right, I should be positive and just look at the bright side of things. Indeed, I can do lots of other poses.

Here are some that Piappies Mom was able to catch with the flashy box! Hope you like them:

I can pose LIKE a rock in the garden. Oh and I also dug a hole there to fit me perfectly!

I can pose as I lay down and eat treats from my food bowl!

Whenever I try to do Froggie Pose I always end up like this and manage to get belly rubs from Piappies Mom!

That's a clever move, don't you think?!

We learned from Piappies Mom that we got some furry friends who need the power of paws. Please join us as we keep our paws crossed for Mika - he is undergoing surgery for his leg and we pray for his quick recovery. We also pray for Tank - please be ok really soon! K also had surgery and is recovering now. Please pray that K can be back on his paws to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains.

We also lit a candle for all our furry friends like Brind, Saffron and Stormy who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Do shine brightly from the the heavens and watch over all of us.

And to end this post on a happy note, we thank the power of paws for our furry friends like Butchy and Galaxy who are feeling a lot better now and have overcome the struggles they went through. Happy barkday to Butchy, too!

Have a great weekend to all of you and we send our hugs and love to you and your hooman family!

Fudgie & Wai-Max: We have a Problem

Wai-Max with Fudgie's Fave toys

It's me, Wai-Max. Hi to all our furry friends. Sorry if I seem a bit gloomy. I just realized that when I was looking at the Piappies photos, there was something I noticed... I do NOT know how to do the Froggie pose! Waaaaaaah Yes, it's true, I don't know how. Why oh why?!!!

You know how our hoo-Moms love to take shot with their flashy box and most of the time, we are their fave targets!

I know I'm still a pup and I have many more to learn but... but Wai-Pai is also a pup in fact we were born on the same day yet she can do the froggie pose! She can even cross her paws!

Wai-Max and Wai-Pai
Wai-Pai Froggie Pose

I went to Dad Fudgie to ask him why and to beg him to teach me but I was shocked with what he revealed...

Fudgie: "Wai-Max, I don't have the answer because I ALSO do NOT know how to do the Froggie Pose!" Waaaaaah

Can any of you help us please?!

A very Important PS: 4 October is the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Though we were not able to go to the Pet Blessing yesterday, we hold St Francis close to our hearts for our hooman Grandpa was named after him. We wish him Happy Barkday today and we thank him for constantly watching over all of us from heaven together with Koko and all our furry friends over at the rainbow bridge.
We also say a prayer to St Francis for all our furry friends that he always protect us from harm.
Happy Feast Day, St Francis of Assisi!

Piappies LiveStrong

Mocha with our Yellow Squeaky Ducky

Today, 2 October 2010, we join our bloggie furry friends who have come together for Live Strong Day. Thanks to Maxdog Mom, Shiloh & Shasta, Phantom, Thunder & Ciara, and of course, Milo and Alfie, we would take this step and help in our little way, too. Do visit them to know more.

Just like so many of you, the bad "C" has affected our hooman family's lives through the years. We pray for everyone - furry friends and hooman friends who lost their loved ones. It is never easy to move on and we still remember them through the happy memories we have shared.

More importantly, we constantly have our paws crossed for those who suffer from this disease. Let us help in fighting this disease by giving support to those who are going through this struggle.

The banner below says it all...

Let us help FIGHT cancer by always giving ENCOURAGEMENT, never lose HOPE, FOCUS on positive, keeping the FAITH and finding reasons to LIVE STRONG.
