Wai-Pai and Forgie's Magic Bag Adventure

We're back!!! Woohoo! It's me, Forgie! Hello to all our bloggie pals all around the world. Allow us to pick up where we left off... We're going to tell you all about our Magic Bag Adventure and since Wai-Pai is older than me, I turn over the typing to her...

Greetings to everyone! We hope to are all doing great. Sometime ago, (it'll be too embarrassing if I specify when as this is a long overdue post! Grrr.... Piappies Mom!) Piappies Mom took out the Magic Bag and brought us to a fun adventure. You see, she has been trying to stay fit and she had this bright idea to make us take part in her physical fitness program. She signed me and Forgie up for a Doggie Run!

Oh, yeah, we had our own race kits! We had warm baths the night before and at 4:30am, we were both in the Magic Bag! In minutes we were transported to this place known as SM Mall of Asia and we were in the company of so many doggie pals!

Piappies Mom got Piappies Mama and Piappies Niece (we call her Sister though) to join and they were so excited for us! Before we could make friends, we were all ushered to the Start Line and then, we heard the whistle and off we went! Piappies Sister was with me and Piappies Mom was with Forgie.

Wai-Pai: Let's goooo Forgie!

At first we were a bit confused, we were wondering if we were in giant playground and we were there to do zoom zoomies with all the other pups!

Forgie: Ok, Wai-Pai! I'm right behind you!

We could see a lot of pups ahead of us and we decided to take it easy and just follow their lead. We were told that since it was our first Doggie Run, we were there to just have fun. After a few steps (ok, honestly it felt a thousand steps) we got to our stop and got a drink. Forgie saw this really adorable pup that looked so much like Twinkie and went on to follow him.

Forgie: Oh wow! The sun shining so bright! Are we near the finish line yet?

Wai-Pai: I'm not sure but I can smell lots of yummy treats over there. Let's gooooo!

Of course, the flashy box was at hand so some shots were taken. Forgive us for some blurry shots Forgie kept tugging on her leash so we could continue with the race. It's funny because during Forgie previous Magic Bag adventures (she got a chance to practice for this race, you see) she hardly ran!

When we finally reached the finish line, we were greeted by Piappies Mama. She was really so proud of us and we were happy to see that.

Forgie: Hmmm... I wonder if we can bring home these treats?!

We then got the chance to go around the booths and check out all the yummy treats and cool stuff we were able to take home. We of course shared them with the rest of our pack.

Wai-Pai: Piappies Mom, are we not to meet Maxie here today?

Wai-Pai: Hey guys, meet Maxie! He's our pal and he can really run!

We also met our friend Maxie! He and his Mom also join Doggie Races and THEY can really RUN. We also saw a few who remind us so much of our friends here in bloggie land. Check them out:

This fellow finished FIRST in the 5k category! Cool, huh?

He sure reminds us of Dave or Thunder or one of The Herd!

Princess Eva, is this Uncle Mika?!

Toby! Is that you?!

Oh wow! Isn't the pup in Hachiko the movie?!

We were so happy to see so many familiar pups!!!

Meet our new friends, too bad they don't have a blog though.

Wai-Pai: We also found another Doggie statue!
Here are the others we found in case you've missed them.

We were rewarded with yummy treats after and we really had a great time! Of course, you'd be able to guess what we did as soon as we got home...

Wai-Pai: It's tough to be sporty, huh, Forgie!

Forgie: We did great today, Wai-Pai! Thanks for looking after me.

Of course, we cannot let this post be up without greeting every Dad in bloggie land....

Happy Father's Day!

Fudgie

Just like our Fudgie Bear, we are sure that all your Dads always shower you with lots of love and watches over you all the time.

Also, we here in the Philippines is celebrating the 150th birthday of our National Hero, Jose Rizal! We are celebrating this with a long weekend and that means lots of zoom zoomies here!

What about you furry friends? How have you been? We've missed you so much and we will hop over to your blogs to say hello! We hope you are all having a great weekend!

The Day Out Bag really works!

Greetings to all our furry pals here and around the globe! Wai-Pai here and I just want to say that it seems like the Day Out Bag is indeed magical!

I hopped into it the other day and now, Piappies Mom tells me that... Forgie and I will be having a Day Out on Saturday and it's a special one for we will be joining our 1st doggie run!

Isn't it just pawesome! We also found out that our friend Maxie also signed up.

Maxie

You see, I had a playdate with him with my brother Wai-Max last year and I'm really excited to see him again and introduce Forgie this time. Read about Maxie's post about our fun day together here.

So here I am with Forgie as we were discussing our battle plan for the Doggie Run. You see, Forgie does not exactly enjoy walking in public. That's right, walking! So we fear that there might be a problem with the running part.

Forgie: "Wai-Pai, you think we will have pretty outfits when we do the Doggie Run?"
Wai-Pai: "Forgie, we are joining a Doggie Run not Project Runway! You got to practice your running skills!"

Forgie: "Alright, I'm learning from a Pro, you do run fast, right?"
Wai-Pai: "Hmmm... yeah, I guess. Let me show you the first thing I do when training for a run..."

Wai-Pai: zzzzzzzzz.....zzzzzzzzzz....zzzzzz

Forgie: "Alright! I've mastered that!" zzzzzzzz....zzzzzzzz.....zzzzzzz....

Frappie, Mocha, Sugar & Wai-Max: "Ok guys, so how do we get to fit in that magical Day Out Bag. We can surely run faster than those two lil piappies! hmmm..."

Would you guys have some tips for us for the Doggie Run? We need some crash course training here. Oh, we forgot to tell you the most crucial info, we are joining the 1.5k category. Piappies Mom is assuring us that we can just take it easy and enjoy the event. We are dedicating this run to a very special pal. You will always be in our thoughts! =)

Forgie's Day Out Bag

Hello to all our furry friends around the world! It's me, Forgie, taking charge of our blog to tell you about my Day Out!

I was brought to the Dr. Vet to complete my vaccinations and since I was such a well-behaved and brave piappie, I was rewarded by Piappies Mom and Piappies Mama (grandma) with a day in the mall!

Ok so my Dr Vet photo is a bit (!) blurred, believe me, I was behaved, maybe it was just the flashy box that kept moving!

I got a really cool pup bag (my Day Out Bag) so I could stay comfortably inside the stores. Coolness, huh?

Here I am in a shoe store --- I was wondering why there were only a pair for shoes in these places when I got 4 paws! Hmmm... they were also for really big paws!

I was also able to stay on the cashier counter for this really great store! See, I told you I'm well-behaved. I was also happy that I was able to take my very own Mr. Bear during the day-out. It's attached to my collar so I could easily play with it anytime!

After that, I was brought to the statues that my sibs Wai-Pai and Wai-Max were brought to when they were as young as I am. You can see the Wai-Pups photos here and here please.

Silent Companion

Waaaah... oops! Where's my head?!!!

Best Friends

Piappies Mom says there is another statue that you can find in another mall and I'm really hoping to go there really soon and have my photo taken there too. (Yay!)

It sure was a fun but tiring day so it was not long after we got home that I zzzzzzzed away.

Little did I know that Wai-Pai was just waiting for the perfect chance and...

She hopped inside the bag!

Perhaps she thought that if she could get into the bag, she would be transported to the mall and have a Day-Out too! Silly Wai-Pai, but hey, perhaps that day-out bag IS magical and can take me anywhere! Or maybe I'm just dreaming... zzzzz....

Wai-Pups Doggie Day Out

Hellooooo furry friends! It's Wai-Pai and I'm finally able to tell you about the Doggie Day Out that we mentioned in our last post. Weeeeeee! Ok, so Piappies Mom, hooman Mama and hooman sister brought me and Wai-Max for a ride. I really could not care where we were headed. My only concern was we were going out! I was so thrilled!

First thing I noticed as we were walking was the presence of so many furry friends. I was looking for our friend Maxie but he was not there. Piappies Mom told us that we were there for a day of spa-mpering. What a treat!

Then she told us that more than the freebies and pawpering moments, we were also being registered for the ASPIN Club. ASPIN is a nickname for "Asong Pinoy" which translates to Philippine native dog. The club is open to all native dogs and mixed breeds. The event was organized by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and our registration money will help the animals rescued from cruelty. We all support PAWS!

Here I am, being groomed..."Mister... that tickles!"

It's Wai-Max' turn! He was not so thrilled with pawdicure and was Grrrring... Silly brother!

We got to meet very nice and friendly new furry pals, had some yummy treats, and even got a very relaxing massage!

Can you see the happy smiles we got?! And there's more...

We found another Piappies-related statue! Remember the "Bestfriends" statue we first one found here. This time it is called the "Silent Companion".

We really enjoy Piappies Day Outs especially since it is usually me and Wai-Max that get to go. For those who take us with them on their day-outs via their posts, we hope you guys also enjoyed our adventure.

Sorry for we don't get to post as often as we' like to but we do visit your blogs as often as we could to stay in touch with all of you, wonderful furry friends!

Wordful Wednesday Proactiv Solutions

Hello to all our furry friends, it's me Wai-Pai! Piappies Mom always keeps us groomed and smelling fresh. One Saturday, she took us out and treated me and Wai-Max to a day of spa-mpering! How cool is that?! But before we talk about our spa-mpering day, we got something to share...

Piappies Mom has found another reason why she has been busy these days aside from w-o-r-k... Hmmmm...

Last week, Piappies Mom was chatting with one of her friends, I heard them talk about a new product --- Proactiv Solutions that is now available here in the Philippines. She was then led to a this really cool game on Facebook that got her playing and not work on our blog updates! It's the Proactiv Works! facebook game.
At first, we were outraged and being a Wai-brat sometimes, I told her: "Mommy! You're not working on our posts!!!" But well, you see, the game is so simple --- but is only open to Philippine residents. One just needs to go to the Proactiv Works! Facebook application, choose one of the model face and just clear away as many pimples and blemishes that randomly appears on the face within one (1) minute. Every week, the highest scorer gets to win a Proactiv 30-day trial kit!

The game demonstrates how Proactiv acne and pimple fighting skin care solution works. The game is so simple that it got Mommy hooked! She and her friend are constantly trying to beat each other's acores. Sometimes they even play the game as they chat. Make me wonder at times if that is as fun as when we play catch or run around. If any of you want to try the game out, just follow Proactiv Solutions Philippines on Facebook and try your luck. Promo is from 1 Aug to 31 Oct 2010

As she checked the website, she discovered that perhaps the product is worth a try. You see Piappies Mom has constantly stayed away from facial stuff. She says it is best to just stick with the basics. There are so many choices available and having one too many ointments, toners, scrubs, wash can be so confusing! Even with us, she only sticks with a gentle soap and shampoo when we have B-A-T-H days. She learned that Proactiv has an easy step guide to keep your face clear and fresh with not much hassle!

We all support her for we learned that all buyers of the trial kits online can also be a lucky winner of a new iPad! We can just imagine what fun stuff we can do with the iPad! We all told her to forget the game and just buy it and get us the iPad. Mom says doing both is better as it is a win-win situation... she gets to play the addicting game, get a trial pack and WIN an iPad and WE get to have our own iPad! We could surf through all our furry friends posts here in the blog world. Weeeeeee

If you want to get a chance to win an iPAd, just order the Proactiv Solution kit online anytime from 15 Aug until 15 Oct 2010. The raffle proper is on 11 Nov!

Do you guys join online promos there? Do your pawrents also get addicted to games?!

Since it is to be a wordless wednesday post, here is a preview of our fun spam-mpering day!!! We are so excited to tell you all about it! Weeeeeee
