Piappies "New" Names for the Week

As you guys know, we joined Sarge's Nickname Game and we have all been given nicknames that we're using since the start of the week!  Let us share with you how we have been reacting to this "new" practice...


Sunday night, while we were doing our post-dinner playtime, Piappies Mom managed to take the flashy box to get my reaction when she called me Fuuuuudgie Beeeear! And I gave her my sweet smile. I really like this nickname, you see...

The next day before Piappies Mom went to work, she called Princie and caught her sleeping still, perhaps she was wondering if the new nickname brings a lot of extra treats. She dis get a lot of ear rubs!

Moc-Moc was laughing at Sugar when he was called Sugar Pie! BOL

These four had mixed reactions.... Maxie-Bear and Moc-Moc are proud to be known by their nicknames while Pie-Pie and Smiley Face are being their usual goofy selves. Oh YEAH... can I tell you a secret?! Piappies Mom was fondly called by our Piappies Grandpa Pie-Pie while she was growing up! Piappies Sister was called Sugar! Hey, that's 2 secrets. BOL You can't tell I told you! I don't want to miss my extra treats. ok? Promise?!

And of course Bee-Bear is just feeling so excited with her nickname. We think she has a crush on J. Bieber! Big time! BOL Incidentally, Bee-Bear will be preparing to join her new pawrents in their furever home really soon. We are playing zoom zoomies as much as we can with her. We'll keep you all posted.

The Nickname Game

Hello there every pup and kitty! We are happy to join this suuuuuper fun Nickname Game hosted by Blogvilles's adorable Sarge.

The rules are pretty simple:


Sometime between May 11th and end of the day on May 18th, create a post on your own blog where you list all of the nicknames you’ve been called by your peeps. Invite your furiends to comment with their own vote for his/her favorite of your nicknames. For the following week, your peeps all have to call you ONLY BY YOUR WINNING NICKNAME! Leave a comment for me so that I know you pawticipated. After the event ends, I will post a list showing all of the pawticipants and their winning nicknames. 


All of the nicknames will be entered in a random drawing. AND YES THERE WILL BE PRIZES…LOTS OF GREAT PRIZES! Two different packs of unstuffies, a mental stimulation stuffie, sets of furiendly cards, and kitty prize packs are all up for grabs.

Happy Mother's Day

Feast of St Francis of Assisi

October 4 is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. Last Sunday, there were a number of Pet Blessing Ceremonies held for all pets and pet lovers to come together. Too bad, we were not able to attend as it was raining a lot then. Isn't it so cool that we got our own patron saint?

That's not all, yesterday also happens to be the birthday of Piappies Mom's Daddy!!! Though he passed away when Piappies Mom was a 9 years old, she still constantly talks about him. She'd tell us stories about how much he loved dogs (and cats, too) and that she grew up having lots of dogs around the house. Piappies Papa would even introduce their pets to their guests whenever they had parties at home.

Somehow we are grateful to him though none of us got the chance to meet him because it was his love for pets that has led us to be here in Piappies World.
