Happy Howl-o-ween

Boo, furry friends, Wai-Pai here! This year, it's my turn to get dressed for Howl-o-ween! Alright, Wai-Max too. But before we show you our costumes, Piappies Mom thanks all of you who sent barkday greetings. We celebrated her barkday with bathtime (yup, she said that was considered a celebration) and extra treats! We played zoom zoomies too! The flashy box was too slow to catch us so here's what we got...

Fudgie's best zoom zoomies shot (he's soooooo fast! heehee)

Celebrating a Long Weekend

Greetings to all our furry friends all over the world! It's Princess here it's really late at night or perhaps really early morning here in Manila but I just had to sneak in to let you know that we are celebrating a special weekend because of several reasons: First, it's Piappies Mom barkday today (alright, it's actually 22 Oct) but since we have gone bedtime yet, we still feel it's her barkday. She was able to go on a barkday leave today! Another is it has been declared that Monday is a holiday here in the Philippines! Now, that we officially consider a loooong weekend and celebrations we will have.

We didn't do much today for Piappies Mom went to celebrate with our hooman Mama and her sister then after that, she asked us that soon as it was bedtime for us, she will be off againto meet up with her friends. She did tell us that we got lots of play time for the days and that we need to rest to have energy for zoom zoomies, run arounds, roll rolling, zoom rolls, run zoomies and more! Of course, we expect that treats would be part of the plan too! So being the Piappies that we are, we zzzzzzed away...

Wai-Max, Wai-Pai and Wai...Why-who-is-that?!!! Hmmmm...

Again.... Wai-Pai & Wai-Max that is right, Silly Mommy!

We give thanks to everyone who crossed their paws for us as we were visited by a nasty storm last week. We are very grateful that we got through the rain drops and windy blows safely but we are also saddened seeing that not all of us were spared for there were several provinces that were badly damaged. We have our paws crossed for them.

We are celebrating with all of you who are having fun and exciting activities weekend. We all know that weekends are furry pals days. We get to spend more time with our hoomans and we love it, right?

We are also offering this weekend to all of our furry friends who are going through struggles. We are spending more time to cross our paws. We've been reading a lot of wonderful stories in the bloggie world these days and we read from one that nothing is certain with the future what is certain is how you can spend today. Let's us embrace life and make the most out of it.

We saw in the news that the nasty storm that just left us is now in Taiwan and is also the neighboring countries. Please be safe there and we pray that it would not bring damage to them.

We will keep you posted on our celebrations this weekend! Do watch out for it, alright?

Have a wonderful weekend, efur-body!

Happy Birthday Koko!!!

Hello to all our furry friends, Piappies Mommy here. Allow me to take over the Piappies blog for today. You might be wondering what the photo above is all about. Are these the fave stuffies of the Piappies? Hmmm... are these ALL stuffies? Do you notice that there is one that is NOT a stuffie? You're right, that's Koko you see in the middle.

Now, who is Koko, you might ask. Koko is the puppy that I've dedicated this blog to and today is the best day to tell you all about him.

On February 24, 1985, Koko came to our home as a gift to my brother. He was very playful, sweet and loving. We instantly fell in love with him.

Our Mom would take him for car rides when she'd pick us up from school. He loved looking out the car window and feel the wind on this face. He had his OWN space on our bed, he loved baths, playing with toys --- chewing on our watches (!), getting tummy rubs and even being groomed. He enjoyed doing fun things ---

we watched our favorite shows on TV

he entertained us with his dancing moves

and even agreed to wear a dress and a ribbon for the flashy box! Silly Koko!

We grew up together --- Koko was my constant companion. For years, he never got tired of waiting for me to come home, staying by my side when I was sick, protecting me from strangers (ok, maybe he was just being possessive) and just being his adorable self.

Koko was also a loving and protective dad to his son Kiko. At that time, we also had a poodle, YumYum, that completed their trio. They all provided lots of laughter and love in our home.

After sharing nine wonderful years with Koko, he crossed over the rainbow bridge on July 15, 1994. I was heartbroken and I thought I would not be able to get over his loss.

Up until the Piappies found us and made our home their furever world. I've come to realize that memories of Koko never fade. I still remember the fun times we had and it sure brings a smile on my face.

Now, I take the chance to thank you, furry friends and hoomans for accepting our friendship and allowing us to share our fun adventures together. Reading your stories become constant reminders that furry friends indeed prove the power of unconditional love and giving back the love and care is the least we can do for them. We share this love with all of you as well.

Happy Happy Birthday, My Dearest Koko!
Thank you so much for being part of my growing up years.
I may not see you running and dancing anymore but you live furever in my heart.
Watch over the Piappies and all our furry friends. Love you furever!
