October 4 is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. Last Sunday, there were a number of Pet Blessing Ceremonies held for all pets and pet lovers to come together. Too bad, we were not able to attend as it was raining a lot then. Isn't it so cool that we got our own patron saint?
That's not all, yesterday also happens to be the birthday of Piappies Mom's Daddy!!! Though he passed away when Piappies Mom was a 9 years old, she still constantly talks about him. She'd tell us stories about how much he loved dogs (and cats, too) and that she grew up having lots of dogs around the house. Piappies Papa would even introduce their pets to their guests whenever they had parties at home.
Somehow we are grateful to him though none of us got the chance to meet him because it was his love for pets that has led us to be here in Piappies World.
For today's post, we would like to share with you our crossed paws photos. We also want to ask you to join us in crossing our paws for some of our furry friends who recently crossed over the rainbow bridge ---
What a LOVELY post. You are so sweet to remember Twix and Kodiak.
