Piappies X'mas 09 Photo Shoot & Pressies

It's me, Fudgie. Happy Christmas to all our furry friends!!! As we mentioned in our previous post, we spent Christmas Day having a photo shoot. First thing we needed was a X'massy location. We all wanted to pose around our indoor X'mas tree but due to Mama's X'mas tree "concerns", Mommy thought of the garden and letting us have OUR very own Christmas tree (ok, maybe more of a shrub --- heehee)
Gathering us all together was another challenge so we have to take turns with the flashy box. Presenting, our 2009 X'mas Photo Shoot... weeeeeee....

Princess: "Alright, Mommy, you want my Hawaiian pose again? Is this ok? Hmmm... Mommy, are you putting a ball as our tree topper? I think we need a star!"


Frappie: "Mommy, how am I doing? Did you say that I'm also a natural model like Daddy Fudgie? Don't I look silly sitting on the garden table with the tree? Are we gonna do this every year? Ok, Mommy, I'm smiling now."

Mocha: "Uh oh... Mom, Sugar is behind me but it seems he has disappeared! It must be the flashy box's fault! --- heehee And the decors seems to disappear too. Ok, the decors are my fault, I did not eat them though, I just knocked the tree off several times and some decors fell off, so Santa, we're still good that I made it to your list this year."

Sugar: *sniff sniff* "Mommy, is this really a tree? The blooms are a bit strange... Hey, kitty, check this out and come join me here in this shot."

Bullet: "Hey, Scrappy, I was told that this is Santa Paws tree, let's smile away to say thank you for the treats he sent our way. Scrappy? Are you listening to me?"
Scrappy: "Hmmm... Those red and white thingies look yummy to me. You think Mommy would mind if I try one? You can distract the flashy box as I reach for that candy cane-looking ring... ready, Bubu?"

* * * * * * * * *

Fudgie: Back to us, Frappie. We also promised to share with you the wonderful surprise we got from the Animal Doctor, the Secretary & Moymoy, Trudis, Scarlet, Woody, Bambi, Jappy & Pusit. Frappie was the lucky one to open the gift and taadah...

Frappie: "These treats are our fave, Dad! Thank you so much Doc, Ms. Secretary & Scarlet, Trudis, Moymoy, Woody, Bambi, Jappy & Pusit! Santa Paws also got us some pressies and treats. Check them out!"


Still Frappie: "Aside from these, we also cherish all the wonderful holiday greetings you have sent out to us. We thank you for making our Christmas truly meaningful. Mocha, Sugar & I surely had a great first Christmas!"

Now, Frappie asks: "Hmmm... Mommy, what happens during New Year, then? Furiends, how are you planning to celebrate New Year's eve?"

Christmas Pressie from Special Friends

Mommy was so busy during the Christmas rush that she did not get the chance to get us all geared up for the holidays. We had a special Christmas photo shoot on Christmas Day instead. Mommy used Fudgie and Frappie's shots for our greeting. She promises to post all our photos in the next post. For now, let us share with you a surprise Mommy had for us. Actually, it was a surprise for her as well.

This is our Christmas tree this year. We were not allowed to get close to it though. Mama fears that we could:

a. rip it apart

b. get zapped by the twinkling stuff
c. open the pressies
d. all of the above
On Christmas Eve, Princess was watching at the bright twinkling stuff, when suddenly she saw something that caught her attention! Hmmm... alright, let's get a better focus on the flashy box...

Princess: "I think I see our name there, Frappie! Would you sneak inside and check it out?" Frappie: "But mom, those twinkling stuff and all the sparkling decors are too hard to resist. I don't think I can be in my best behavior and Santa Paws will be passing by tonight. I can't risk not getting pressies from him. It is MY first Christmas!"
Mocha: "I do see a package with 'To: Piappies' on it" THAT is for us, right?!"
Sugar: "Weeeeeee surprise surprise!!!"
Fudgie: "Alright, off to bed everyone. Scrappy & Bullet are zzzzing away already, Santa Paws is on his way and we want him to visit our world, right?!"

It's Christmas Time!

Hello Everyone! Fudgie here --- as we get closer and closer to Christmas, Mommy and our human family are getting more and more busy with the holiday rush. One thing I'm busy with is trying to explain to Frappie, Mocha and Sugar what Christmas is all about. It is their first Christmas, you see. Well since I'm no expert about Christmas traditions since it is just MY second, I thought I'd ask Mommy to help me explain.

Alright, looks like I've been tricked by Mommy. I found myself in a tub and getting sprinkled with lots and lots of droplets of water! Mommy said that I should just imagine that those are snowflakes. Silly Mommy, she just wants to give me a bath! It does feel cold and refreshing, though. Snow does give you that feeling, right?

Hmmm...Mommy, why is the "snow" coming from the garden hose and not the sky?!

From what I remember from last year's Christmas celebrations, our human family were all busy running around doing shopping, cooking, wrapping of presents, and many more.

Mommy attempted to enlist me and Bullet as part of Santa Paws' helpers. Bullet's Momster got us to wear reindeer ears and a button nose that lights up. She just could not find a photo worth posting since we really did our best not to cooperate. Our Mama also dressed up the house with lots and lots of lights, red and green decors, Mr. Snowman, lots of angels and she also had a strange tree that was placed inside the house. The tree also has lots of lights, ribbon and other pretty ornaments. We also played fun Xmas songs.

The one I remember the most is getting really cool things like stuffies, treats, squeaky toys and frisbees. We got called one by one by each of our human family and received wonderful gifts and lots and lots of hugs!

So, Frappie, Mocha & Sugar, Christmas is a time where we spend with family, exchanging greetings and sharing lots of treats and pressies. Now that we have opened our world to our wonderful bloggie furiends, we got more reasons to have happy memories for us to create this Christmas time. We share the love to each and every one of you.
